About QC Space

QC Space provides both commercial storage and domestic storage in the northeast of England. The company has been offering self storage, high volume storage, business unit letting, warehouse space and office lettings from its Peterlee base since 2005, when it was created by its associate company, Queen’s Court.

Established in 2000, commercial letting company Queen’s Court Business Centre has rapidly established itself as one of the Northeast’s most successful commercial letting agents. A year later the company opened Queen’s Court Southwick, just off Riverside Road in Sunderland and Queens Court Leechmere soon followed in 2003. In the six years since its inception, Queens Court has attracted a huge number of national and local companies with their competitive rates and easy in and easy out lease options.

The addition of QC Space to the company’s portfolio means that we are now able to satisfy the demand for larger business units, warehousing space and office rental, while our pallet storage facility is aimed at local businesses with more to store and can house anything from one to 500 pallets in a safe and secure environment.

Our business units are in a prime location, near a wide range of amenities and benefiting from close proximity to major road links. We are situated within the well established North West Industrial Estate close to the A19. Peterlee town centre is approximately two miles to the east and Sunderland city centre approximately ten miles to the north, with the A1(M) within 10 miles.

In February 2006 Unit 5 was opened solely as a self storage facility. Our self storage units have been fitted with a brand new, purpose-built system giving customers their own secure storage area, incorporating high security features, including 24 hour monitored CCTV, and secure on-site parking. QC Space’s self storage facilities comply fully with the Self Storage Association regulations.

The property is a steel frame high bay warehouse building comprising an original building and modern extension constructed circa 1993. The original section of the building provides warehousing together with production and office accommodation, while the extension provides specialist warehouse accommodation.

Externally, the property benefits from secure on-site parking and service yard, with loading provision provided by a number of ground level roller shutters.
